Q: How long can I rent a boat or WaveRunner?
A: We only rent for one hour at a time.
Q: How old do I have to be to rent a boat or WaveRunner?
A: Someone on the WaveRunner has to be 21, kids can go, kids can drive, provided their feet can reach the deck while seated.
Q: Do I have to be able to swim?
A: Everyone that goes must be able to swim, no exceptions.
Q: How much can I weight?
A: Combined weight of driver and passenger cannot exceed 480lbs.
Q: Is tubing or water skiing possible on your boats?
A: Sorry, no tubing as per our insurance company.
Q: How much is a WaveRunner rental?
A: Our WaveRunner rental takes an hour and a half and cost $ 175.00
Q: Is there operating instructions for the boat or WaveRunner?
A: Each rental includes, a 30 minute class on WaveRunner operation and boating safety, also required by insurance.
Q: How will I know where I’m allowed to go in the bay?
A: This is a one hour of unsupervised operating in our operating area, which is 6 miles by 3 miles on the southern end of the East Passage of Narragansett Bay, between Gould Island and Castle Hill Light, including Newport Harbor and Jamestown.
Q: Do you accept credit cards or checks?
A: We do not take credit cards, cash only, no deposit required, if you damage the Waverunner, you own it.
Q: Is there a guide or captain with me?
A: This is an unsupervised trip, and you must be, in at least average physical condition. We ask you to bring your cell phone, in case something goes wrong, you can all us. We provide a water proof case.
Q: What else should I consider before I rent?
A: Please apply your sunscreen before you arrive and be ready to go when you come down to our dock.
